Hi there, my name is Olga Vargas. Twenty-seven years ago, I was a Teacher in Colombia and have been a teacher here in the United States for the last two years. I will teach language arts; I want to concentrate all my skills on helping students reach their full potential in reading and writing, developing the foundations of critical thinking. As a foreign teacher, I love helping students for whom English is their second language; they may make significant progress when we work on adapting to a new language. In a world where globalization is a reality and multilingualism is becoming increasingly important, I believe that if parents, kids, and I work together to attain the same goal, we will see the desired outcomes.
